Board notes May 5 online learning week for AP testing on 2024-25 calendar

Low said the 2024-25 calendar was approved in 2022 and officials waited for the College Board announcement before noting the online learning week this year.
Low said the online learning week is intended to help high schools “get students on and off and comply with the expectations of those tests,” and that the calendar notation was added now that the testing dates are known. He described the item as an informational update rather than an action item; the board took no vote on the calendar at the meeting.
Board members had no questions during the presentation and the district will post the calendar online so families and schools can see the notation for the May 5 online learning week.
