At the Jan. 21 meeting the commission approved several advisory-board appointments and a community-support fund allocation.
Mayor Penserga nominated Soul Bath to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; Commissioner Hay seconded the motion and the commission approved the appointment unanimously. Jordan Sperling was nominated to the Building Board of Adjustment and Appeals and confirmed unanimously. The commission also approved a $2,000 request from Commissioner Cruz’s community-support funds for an organization listed as "Young and Faith."
The full consent agenda, including contracts and purchases over $100,000, was approved as presented later in the meeting; commissioners recorded unanimous votes on those items.
