Forest Utilization Research requests workforce manager to train students on new logging tech
The University of Idaho’s Forest Utilization Research Program asked the committee for funding of a workforce development manager to train students on recently acquired advanced forestry equipment and support student employees in the experimental forest.

Kevin Campbell, budget and policy analyst with the Legislative Services Office, presented the Forest Utilization Research Program (FIRR) budget to the committee and said FIRR sits within the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources.
