Chambers County commissioners approve multiple contracts, budget items and code updates; several items tabled
At its Jan. 14 meeting the Chambers County Commission Court approved a package of contracts, change orders, funding actions and an update to the local fire code, while tabling or sending several development and procurement matters for further review.

Chambers County Commission Court on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, voted to approve a series of contracts, change orders and policy updates and to adopt the 2021 International Fire Code amendments for local implementation. Commissioners also voted to provide a limited ARPA contribution for a grant-funded wastewater project and approved transfers and purchases tied to county capital projects.
