Committee debrief flags contact gaps in nominee confirmations for agencies

The committee identified specific incoming names: one referenced nominee Eric Johnson as a prospective commissioner of the Department of Public Service, and members noted two other nominees had arrived but lacked contact details. Members said they attempt to match nominees to home districts when scheduling interviews and that, once contact details are obtained, they schedule background questions and add the nominees to the calendar.

Committee members asked staff to continue work locating contact information and background materials for the nominees so they can complete interviews and move the confirmations forward.
