MONTPELIER, Vt. — Following the joint canvassing committee’s report that no candidate for lieutenant governor received a majority of the public vote, the Vermont General Assembly conducted a joint-ballot election on Jan. 9, 2025, and declared John S. Rogers duly elected to the office.
