At its Jan. 9 meeting, the Pasco County MPO Board approved several personnel and membership actions.
MPO staff recommended adding William Toner and Robert Teft as regular members of the Technical Advisory Committee. Scott Barry, presenting the staff recommendation, said Toner "was recently appointed as the public works director for the city of Dade City" and Teft "serves as a senior planner for the city of New Port Richey." A board member moved the appointments, the motion was seconded, and the board voted "Aye." The motion carried.
The board also approved one at-large appointment to the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee: Bridal Merrins was appointed to replace the Florida Department of Health representative in Pasco County. That motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Additionally, the board completed its customary annual membership appointments, assigning board members to subcommittees and continuing current representatives; the board approved the slate by voice vote.
The meeting record shows voice approvals for each item; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript.
