Committee advances bill to modernize dietetics practice, create interstate compact for dietitians

House Bill 185 would modernize Georgia’s Dietetics Practice Act, define medical nutrition therapy, limit that practice to licensed dietitians/nutritionists, and allow Georgia to join an interstate licensure compact. The committee gave the bill a due‑pass recommendation by voice vote.
