At the Dec. 17, 2024 Pullman City Council meeting, members considered public comment and what Mayor Francis Benjamin said were more than 18,000 emails on a proposed ceasefire resolution. After acknowledging strong views on both sides, the council voted to end consideration of the resolution and not forward it to staff or legal review.
