Development committee requests resubmittal for site plan after parking and landscape code issues

The Development Review Committee on Oct. 7, 2025 heard unresolved review comments on a site-plan application identified in the meeting transcript as "the Abundant by Church or a" and instructed the applicant to submit written responses with revised plans for final administrative approval.

Mark Young, assistant advocate, opened the meeting by saying the purpose was "to go over the comments that they're unresolved. The development committee has made project. The project is specifically a site plan for the abundant by church or a." He and committee members noted the application describes roughly a 17,000-square-foot addition with school space and related parking and utilities.

Andrew Petty, senior planner, described the next steps as administrative: "Yeah. It's it's, for many use. That's the process. It's administrative. Alright." Young and Petty told the applicant the required process is to upload revised plans and submit written responses to each unresolved comment; the committee will then re-circulate the submittal to reviewers and, if everything is addressed, stamp the plans.

Committee members and staff flagged site-plan specifics that must be corrected before final sign-off. Young summarized comments about parking and landscaping: the committee found interior landscape-island dimensions that do not meet the current code and instructed that "the master parking plan has [to be] revised with the revised site plan."
