Committee designates Walker's Point as Milwaukee's first innovation district

The Community and Economic Development Committee voted to adopt Substitute Resolution 12500660 to designate a portion of the Walker's Point neighborhood as Milwaukee’s first innovation district. The measure was presented and discussed at the committee meeting chaired by Alderman Russell Stanford II and was moved for approval by Alderman Deandre Jackson; the motion drew no objections and was ordered adopted.
