Warren County Fiscal Court approves routine appointments, contracts and grant authorizations

Warren County Fiscal Court on Oct. 2 approved a series of routine administrative items, including the appointment of a county treasurer, multiple contract renewals and procurement awards, and the authorization to apply for several state grants.

The court voted to appoint Stephen Kenworthy as Warren County treasurer (Resolution 25-17); to approve a one-year contract renewal with Cave Land Environmental for parks sanitation and sewer services; to award procurement and single-source determinations for equipment and services for county facilities and departments; and to authorize the judge executive to sign grant applications and related documents for litter abatement, illegal open-dump cleanup and a spay/neuter grant from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
