Fair Oaks Ranch council approves first reading of comprehensive Unified Development Code amendments
City staff presented a multi-year update to the Unified Development Code (UDC) and the City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance adopting comprehensive amendments that clarify standards, update lot and block rules, adjust screening and sign rules, and address tree and drainage provisions.

The Fair Oaks Ranch City Council on Oct. 2 approved the first reading of an ordinance enacting comprehensive amendments to the city’s Unified Development Code. Jessica Reducio, city planner, told council the changes were designed to incorporate state statutes, clarify existing standards and update regulations to reflect the city’s current needs.
