Fair Oaks Ranch council approves first reading to lower Rolling Acres speed limit to 30 mph
On Oct. 2, 2025, the Fair Oaks Ranch City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance to reduce the maximum speed on Rolling Acres Trail from 35 mph to 30 mph between Ammon Road and Silver Spur, following resident testimony and a Transportation Safety Advisory Committee recommendation.

The Fair Oaks Ranch City Council on Oct. 2 approved the first reading of an ordinance to reduce the maximum speed limit on Rolling Acres Trail from 35 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour between Ammon Road and Silver Spur. The vote followed resident testimony describing near-misses, property damage and concerns about the road’s narrow, curving segments.
