Winter Texans contribute nearly $1.9 billion annually to Rio Grande Valley economy, broadcast reports

Brownsville TV News reported that roughly 53,000 winter Texans spend the winter months in the Rio Grande Valley and contribute an estimated $1.9 billion annually to the local economy; the broadcast promoted the Winter Texan Expo on Jan. 23 and local attractions that draw seasonal visitors.
