Becker County signs support letter for Audubon Local Road Improvement Program application

They said the city can apply for up to $1.5 million; the city will assemble a funding package if a request for more than that amount is needed.
County staff and commissioners discussed timetable coordination with planned county paving on County Road 144 to seek cost efficiencies. Commissioners approved the board signing a local-support letter and agreed to consider a formal county resolution and sponsor role if Audubon’s application is selected.
Action: Motion to approve the letter of support carried on voice vote; the county will provide a signed letter to city staff for inclusion with the LRIP application and will consider further sponsorship steps.
