The Dickson County Commission on Oct. 20 approved a package of routine measures including a countywide budget amendment (excluding school funds), adoption of a revised Basic Emergency Operations Plan and several local traffic and tax items, and voted to rezone a 2.45-acre parcel on Highway 46 South to C-2 general commercial.
The commission opened the business portion of the meeting by approving the minutes of its Sept. 15 meeting (motion by Commissioner Patey; second by Commissioner Gray). Commission members then approved a budget amendment described during the meeting as applying to “all funds except schools.” Commissioner McElwain moved the budget amendment; Commissioner Ledger seconded; the commission approved it by voice vote.
