The Planning Commission workshop on Sept. 16 heard a brief update that the Zoning Hearing Board granted the variances and special relief sought by Reading Area Community College (RACC) for the Student Union Hall project. Planning staff said the board’s decision resolved the primary zoning issues and that the city solicitor will draft a follow-up letter documenting floodplain-related conditions the applicant needs to address.
