Supervisors asked whether the codification firm would work with county departments that maintain separate ordinances and whether ordinances added since 2018 would be included. County staff said they expected the firm to build on the 2018 draft and to add later ordinances; supervisors suggested workshops with departments that have existing ordinances to ensure accuracy.
The motion to contract with Simmer & Corey passed on a unanimous voice vote.
