The University Hill Commercial Area Management Commission voted Sept. 2 to appoint two representatives to an advisory group forming for a proposed Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The advisory group’s first meeting is scheduled for Sept. 16; the consultant Puma has begun stakeholder outreach and the advisory group will meet monthly through next summer to support planning that could lead to a November 2026 ballot measure.
