The NEVADA R‑V Board of Education on Sept. 15 approved an update to Policy 503.4, the district’s extracurricular code of conduct, adding bowling as a recognized sport and changing the timing of disciplinary penalties for track athletes. The board also voted to waive a second reading so the changes could take effect sooner.
