The committee elected Lou Anne LeMay to serve as chair and Alexis Blount as vice chair for the coming year. Each officer was confirmed by a roll-call vote in which the three members present — LeMay, Blount and Miss Milner — voted yes.
The committee also voted to approve the minutes from the previous meeting and to adopt the proposed 2026 IEC meeting schedule. The motion to approve the previous meeting minutes was moved and seconded (second recorded as Miss Mueller); a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval. The motion to approve the 2026 IEC schedule was moved by Alexis Blount, seconded by Lou Anne LeMay, and approved by roll call.
Board staff opened each vote to public comment per the agenda; no members of the public requested to speak.
The committee recessed into closed session under Business and Professions Code section 277.1 and Government Code section 11126, subdivision (c)(2), to consider intervention program applicants and participants and reconvened to adjourn the open meeting later in the day.
