Near the close of the workshop, a county attorney or staff member identified as "Minter" told commissioners that outside counsel recommended Marion County participate in a new state settlement related to Purdue Pharma. He said that participating in the statewide settlement is the recommended approach rather than pursuing a separate, individual lawsuit.
