The board approved adoption of the Unique Learning System (ULS) curriculum for Anchor Bay’s self-contained MICI classrooms (preschool–12) at its Aug. 27 meeting. Administration recommended ULS as an evidence-based curriculum with built-in progress monitoring, a thematic scope that can be vertically aligned and materials designed to reduce the amount of teacher time spent individually adapting general-education content.
