County to accept $3 million CDBG disaster-relief allocation for two bridge replacements

Miss Malone, the county's economic development officer, told commissioners that Dickson County has been allocated $3,000,000 from a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) disaster-relief set-aside related to the 2021 floods. Malone said the allocation is nonmatching and that the funds are planned to be used to replace the East Piney Road Bridge and the Woods Valley Road Bridge.
