Public Works proposes code changes to accelerate delinquent solid-waste penalties and halt disposal for long-overdue accounts
Thurston County Public Works told commissioners it will ask the board to set a public hearing on Oct. 21 to consider changes to county code 15.14 that would reduce the delinquent penalty assessment date from 60 to 30 days and shorten the threshold for suspension of disposal from 90 to 60 days.
