Community Development says permit backlog shrinking; posts application tracker and plans more plan-review capacity

Gavin Henderson, Lyon County Community Development Director, told the Planning Commission on Sept. 9 that staff has updated the county planning web pages to include a development-application section with an Excel tracker of current applications and approval letters. Henderson said staff are continuing work on a development map but have encountered server and file-size issues that IT and the county engineer are addressing.
