The Committee on Homeland Security, Justice and Public Safety voted to forward Bill 36‑0136, sponsored by Senator Avery L. Lewis, which would require mandatory lethal‑weapon training, certification, periodic requalification and reporting for private security guards and investigators who carry firearms in the territory.
