Bend MPO outlines timeline, data approach for Transportation Safety Action Plan update

Andrea Napoli and other MPO staff briefed the Technical Advisory Committee on the status of the Bend Transportation Safety Action Plan (TSAP) update and the related schedule for consultant work funded by a federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) award.
Napoli said the MPO secured SS4A funding to update Bend's TSAP and that staff are negotiating scope, budget and contract with the consultant team. "We're expecting that update to begin in late September and conclude in 2027, so kind of a 16 to 18 month time frame," Napoli said.
