The Cole County Commission on Sept. 23 approved a contract with DevNet to add a Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) module and camera/pricing tool to the county assessor's valuation system, a staff member said.
County staff said the tool will allow the assessor's office to program automated searches for comparable sales, apply standard adjustments for square footage, car storage and lot size, and produce mass valuations more efficiently. The commission approved the contract at a discounted price of $7,522.20.
