The Toledo City Council introduced Resolution 350-25 on Aug. 12, a measure urging the Ohio Board of Pharmacy to classify kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) as a Schedule I controlled substance. The item was presented by Council members Melden, Williams, Hobbs and Morris and was placed on first reading.
