City planning staff told the Planning and Zoning Commission on Aug. 11 that work has begun on phase 2 of a multi‑phase comprehensive plan update focused on Grand Prairie’s core “epicenter” area from Joe Pool (Joe Pool Lake) to Pioneer Parkway.
