The chair said he would remove the current resolution from the agenda and reintroduce it later after speaking with both Patterson and Lytle so the change and implementation plan “come from both of you so we’re all on the same page.” He added that if any other legislator brings the resolution before both parties and the chair have agreed on the language and implementation, “they won’t have my support.”
The chair framed the action as an effort to repair communication and preserve continuity in the clerk’s office, noting Patterson’s service to the county and thanking her for stepping in.
