Pitkin County sets public hearings for third‑quarter budget supplemental requests

Commissioners approved first reading and set a public hearing for Sept. 25 on a third‑quarter supplemental appropriations resolution that would increase expenditures by $2,736,993 offset by revenue changes, for a net budget increase of $2,208,477; items include facility repairs, security staffing, grants and housing acquisitions.
