Mendon council appoints two residents to library board

Jeannie Suhr submitted a letter of interest but was unable to attend because of car trouble; her letter said she and her husband moved to Mendon in 2022 and that she has past experience working in a university library.
"I would be interested in an appointment to the position pending the board and Mendon City approval," McBride said in her remarks. The council moved and seconded a motion to appoint both candidates; the motion passed unanimously on a voice vote.
