Argyle commission creates primary/auxiliary canopy-sign categories, recommends ordinance amendment
The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4-0 to recommend Ordinance TBS 25,006, which revises canopy-sign standards by establishing primary and auxiliary canopy categories (primary up to 65 sq ft and 4 ft height; auxiliary up to 20 sq ft and 3 ft height). The change responds to new building designs at Argyle Station.

The Argyle Planning and Zoning Commission on Aug. 6 recommended approval of an ordinance amendment (TBS 25,006) that revises canopy-sign standards in the town development standards. The commission voted 4-0 to create distinct primary and auxiliary canopy-sign categories and to set larger maximum dimensions for primary canopy signs.
