Councilors noted that the Rhode Island Division of Statewide Planning issued a letter dated May 23 certifying the Town of Exeter's Community Comprehensive Plan Update ("Exeter 2044") as consistent with statewide goals and policies. A councilor said the town will receive a certificate of recognition at a ceremony in Providence the following week.
