Developer, engineer tell Oakland board Hidden Springs PD amendment will improve drainage, add open space; amendment approved on first reading

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen heard a presentation from engineer Josh Burnett representing the developer of Hidden Springs on a minor planned‑development amendment to the Fields sections C, D and E. Burnett said the amendment reconfigures the previously approved lot‑and‑block grid into curvilinear roads, adds roughly 3–4 acres of detention that will serve as common open space and will not increase the subdivision’s total lot count (the Fields had about 247 remaining lots at the time of the presentation).
