Commission updates account specialist series; classification modifications pass unanimously
Summary

Brandy Delzel, Human Resources Manager, said the series had been updated “because it has been outdated” and asked the commission to approve all classifications within the series as proposed.
A commissioner summarized the request as updating existing classifications rather than creating new positions. After a motion and second, the clerk conducted a roll call. Commissioners Whittaker, Ebiam, Rose and Slater voted in favor and the motion carried unanimously.
Delzel said the changes reflect a substantial number of modifications to duties and descriptions across the series but did not provide salary-grade changes or specific implementation dates during the meeting.
The commission recorded the action and moved to other agenda business.
