Augusta County supervisors postpone decision on Stuarts Draft proffer change after residents raise drainage, density concerns

The Board of Supervisors postponed consideration of a proffer amendment for an 8.9-acre Stuarts Draft subdivision that would reduce the minimum single-family house size from 1,800 to 1,400 square feet after extended public comment about flooding, traffic and school impacts; the board set the item for reconsideration July 23.
