Ada County commissioners approve multiple procurement awards, adopt two resolutions and record routine actions

Ada County commissioners on June 17 approved a series of procurement awards and routine county actions, adopted two resolutions and took other administrative votes during their weekly open business meeting.

The board approved evaluation-team recommendations to award multiple request-for-proposal contracts, voted to reject one uniform bid package and to retable a separate radio-site bid, adopted two resolutions (one restricting fireworks in specified high-risk areas and one clarifying prior American Rescue Plan Act program closures and allowable expenditures), and handled routine items including minutes, claims, personnel actions and license/catering approvals.

The procurement decisions followed presentations from Ada County procurement staff outlining evaluation scores and rankings. The board approved awards to the top-ranked firms for each solicitation and accepted staff recommendations in all cases presented. The board also voted to reject a problematic uniform bid package and to rebid that procurement.
