The City of Eagan’s Sustainability staff and the Sustainable Eagan Advisory Commission (SEAC) described the city’s Climate Action Plan (CAP) implementation approach at the June 10 joint session. The CAP, adopted in April 2025, sets a community target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 55% by 2035 and reach net‑zero by 2050; staff presented a phased ten‑year implementation framework and SEAC proposed priorities for the coming year.
