Commission approves contract with Clear Results for retailer partnership program after commissioners ask for cost-effectiveness data

The Resource Management Commission voted to authorize Austin Energy to enter a contract with Clear Results to administer the Strategic Partnership of Utilities and Retailers (SPUR) program for an initial two-year term with up to three one-year extensions, in a contract not-to-exceed $11 million. Austin Energy staff said $1,250,000 is available in the operating budget for the initial period.
