Commission approves resource conservation chapter final draft

The Caroline County Planning and Zoning Commission approved the final draft of the resource conservation chapter (referred to in the meeting as the resource confirmation chapter) at its June meeting.
Staff reported that the chapter had received minor edits since the prior meeting and that the text, including a historical note and minor clarifications, is ready as a final draft. A commissioner moved to approve the chapter "as presented by Mr. Libby," and the motion carried by voice vote.
With the approval, staff indicated they will include the resource conservation chapter in the forthcoming full draft of the comprehensive plan and circulate the plan for state and public review as part of the next steps.
