The Western Weber Planning Commission opened a public hearing Jan. 9 on ZMA2023‑08, a request to rezone approximately 72.75 acres at about 4000 West and 3300 South for the Navy Meadows development (a mix of R‑115 single family and an R‑3 townhome component). After public comment and staff discussion, commissioners voted to table the item to the February planning commission meeting and asked staff to prepare and provide notice for a potential general‑plan map amendment if the applicant wishes to retain the R‑3 component.
