CARSON CITY — The Senate Committee on Government Affairs voted to pass Assembly Bill 589, a privacy bill that would establish protections for certain personal information and genetic material and limit disclosure or sale absent informed consent, while including statutory exceptions for medical treatment and law enforcement subpoenas.
