Commission approves final ARPA task order to close remaining compliance work

Saline County commissioners on June 10 approved a final task order with iParametrics to complete remaining compliance and closeout work for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) projects, authorizing $20,015 in additional consultant services.
Philip Smith Haines, Saline County administrator, told the commission the county has been working with iParametrics since 2021 to administer and document ARPA-funded projects. Previous task orders totaled about $413,000 and the contract balance is largely exhausted; staff requested task order 6 for $20,015 to finalize reporting and close out remaining work. Smith Haines said $12,527.77 would come from a cancelled project’s unobligated balance, $1,492.19 from interest remaining in the ARPA fund, and the remainder would be held until the county identifies a final funding source for the small remaining amount.
A commissioner asked for the task order details; Smith Haines described the work generically as final reporting, reconciliation and other administrative closeout tasks. A motion to approve RFA 20 25-83 passed on voice vote.
Smith Haines said all ARPA money had been obligated by Dec. 31 but that a few reporting items and closeouts remain. The approved task order allows staff to complete required federal reporting and finalize the file with iParametrics.
