District proposes changes to student progression plan and code of conduct; truancy, electronic devices and expulsion language updated
Manatee County School District staff presented proposed revisions to the Student Progression Plan and the Student Code of Conduct at the June 10 workshop, updating intervention language, clarifying graduation and accelerated-course criteria, and adding state-aligned provisions on truancy reporting, threats and expulsions and a new ban on elementary and middle school personal electronic-device use during the school day.
