Flower Mound staff presented a proposal for a residential tree rebate program to the Environmental Conservation Commission on June 3, asking the commission for feedback before the item goes to Town Council. The program would reimburse qualifying Flower Mound residents up to $500 per year after they purchase and plant eligible trees during an October–May planting window, staff said.
