Lake County Board approves staffing requests, contract change order and policy updates; multiple unanimous votes
The Lake County Board of Supervisors on May 13 voted unanimously on several operational items, approving a $271,384 revised fence contract for the Hill Road Correctional Facility, a $127,665 homeless-youth housing agreement with Adventist Health Clear Lake, and amendments to the county's hiring-incentive policy while directing staff to finalize rules for transient-occupancy-tax enforcement for unregistered short-term rentals.
